'Shut Up & Write!’s mission is to provide everyone with the resources, tools, and methodology to create inclusive and supportive writing groups. The organization believes that writing is for everyone and that fostering a culture of community, accountability, and encouragement helps individuals develop sustainable writing habits.'

They meet every Friday in Happenstance Cafe's Library room on the second floor.

3:00 - 5:00 pm The kick of to PGH Social Club’s monthly book club meeting. Upstairs in the library!

6:30 - 9:00 pm  6 comics will perform their brand new material for you, our gracious audience. This time, they're ALL WINNERS from previous shows --- so this is the best against the best. After they all go up, you the audience votes who wins the golden pen and the cash prize.
